Crisci & Mayer is pleased to bring you the following conference presenters. All of the following workshops will take place in Toronto.
Working together
Crisci & Mayer, Consultation, Counselling and Training provides assessment-based treatment to all age groups for a wide variety of difficulties such as trauma experiences, relationship concerns, depression and anxiety, self harm issues, adjustment to change, illness and loss. We provide individual, couple and family therapy/psychotherapy.
We also provide services for professionals who are dealing with workplace stress and secondary trauma. As well, we provide counselling, consultation, and training to groups and organizations within our community, and throughout the rest of Canada and the United States.
We specialize in trauma assessment and treatment, sexualized behaviour problems in children, the effects of witnessing violence, sibling sexual abuse, and effects of early trauma.
Toronto Hostel Training Centre – This fall and winter Nancy Mayer continues her long-standing relationship with the Training Centre and will be teaching courses pertaining to Supervising Staff at both and introductory and advanced level.
Safeguard’s 6 Day Trauma Assessment Training (Geraldine Crisci)
Geraldine Crisci will be presenting at The 10th Annual Conference on Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation Prevention Conference, which will be held at the Marriott Convention Center, New Orleans on August 25-27, 2009
Geraldine Crisci will once again be presenting at the Midwest Conference on Child Sexual Abuse, Oct 19 - 21st, 2009
Crisci and Mayer have been asked to develop and teach the three and a half day training course for new counsellors for the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ICASA). Geraldine Crisci will be teaching that course August 18 – 21, 2009 in Springfield, Illinois. The focus of this course is on the trauma needs and sexual behavioural concerns affecting children and adolescents who have been sexually traumatized.
