About Us

Crisci & Mayer, Consultation, Counselling and Training is an independent, non-government funded organization committed to the provision of assessment based treatment to all age groups. We provide services to individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities.

We are dedicated to ensuring that service providers have access to the most up to date information on the assessment and treatment of various emotional, family and psychological problems in particular, trauma, sexualized behaviour problems in children, witnessing violence, sibling sexual abuse, effects of early trauma.

We place the highest value on the maintenance of professional boundaries while providing an environment of understanding, warmth and compassion. We hold strong beliefs regarding the respect of our client’s needs and perspective. Our work is based on understanding people’s behaviour in the context of their experiences and the need for belonging and safety. Our clinical approach is based on a developmental perspective and an understanding of behaviour and symptoms as protective strategies.

Our consultation services to organizations and human service workers are provided in an effort to promote the development of excellence in the field and to support highly skilled and trained workers to stay current and vital. To this end we design consultation and training packages with the view to support managers in building sound clinical services and well functioning and effective human service organizations.
